LA CAÍDA DE RAFAEL TRUJILLO (The Downfall of Rafael Trujillo) opens a window to the complex psyche of Rafael Trujillo Molina, the controversial ruler of the Dominican Republic who ruled his country with an iron fist for more than 30 years. His desire for absolute power poisoned his humanity and terrorized a nation. The play, based on historical facts, tells a very moving story of a man who struggles with his best and worst instincts, but inevitably succumbs to the seduction of power and corruption.
