It’s a new year and the beginning of new opportunities. Many of us often make resolutions and set goals for the rest of the year. Where does the arts fit in your new plans? Will you be attending more theater performances? Will you check out a new art exhibit? How about taking that class you always wanted? Whatever the case may be, don’t forget to support the small and independent groups and establishments as well. Many of them offer various activities at reasonable prices. Supporting them usually ensures that the arts reach a wider and otherwise under exposed audience.
We have many great things planned for the upcoming months. As well as continuing to support, aid and promote local artist and organizations. We hope to attend many more events and get to know each and everyone of the talented group of artist that reside in our great city. We invite you to join us in another adventurous year.
As a custom for the new year, we often reflect on the good and the bad that old year bestowed upon us. We are thankful to everyone in the hispanic theater industry who have welcomed us with open arms. To those who have accepted ARTENY as a responsible media outlet and trusted us to spread the word about the endless talent available in our great city. Our sincere gratitude to everyone who invited us to the many performances, award shows, film festivals and special events we covered this our first year. To each person that approached us, thanked us and gave us encouraging words for our effort. Know that we appreciate each kind word and advice.
From all of us at ARTENY, we wish everyone a healthy, prosperous and creative new year, filled with love, happiness and much success.
